The world's first interactive zoo of microbes appeared in Amsterdam, not far from the usual zoo. The director of an unusual institution for several years nurtured the idea of showing everyone who wants a micro-level of wildlife.
The new zoo resembles a laboratory with many microorganisms, which can only be seen with a microscope after it is connected to a large screen. Visitors to the zoo can observe the life of the bacteria in the test tubes.
A special three-dimensional microscope demonstrates the multiplication of microorganisms. In addition, the zoo presents a huge model of Ebola fever.
Another interesting innovation is a special scanner, with which any visitor can find out how many microbes are on his body. Couples are invited to kiss and find out how many bacteria they passed on to each other.
