The Bishop's Palace in Krakow, built in the XIV century, is always associated with Pope John Paul II, where he lived in the 60s and 70s, when he was still a Polish cardinal. In the courtyard of the palace a monument is erected to him, where he is depicted in a blessing pose with raised hands. The sculpture is very lively and realistic, talentedly made.
