Perhaps the main attraction of the city can be called the Holy Dormition Cathedral (Zaporozhskaya St., 40), the construction of which was completed in 1912. Despite all the vicissitudes history and a difficult 20th century, the interior of the temple is well preserved and amazes the imagination today: here is the iconostasis and paintings with biblical plots of astonishing work.
The second mandatory item in the program - the Museum of Local History (Dzerzhinsky Street, 255), which tells in detail about the formation of the Cossack village and its transformation into a city. Studying the sights of the "Kuban Holland" would be incomplete without visiting the monument to the soldiers of the Taman Red Army, who died in the breakthrough under the command of E. Kovtyukh. Today it is considered not only a symbol of the city, but also one of the oldest monuments in the region, the date of its construction in 1923 (Naberezhnaya street, SHT).
