Following Vietnam, another popular country in Southeast Asia, Singapore, announced the intention to simplify the migration control procedure for Russian citizens.
In the framework of the Russian-Singapore Business Forum, which is taking place at the Suntec exhibition center these days, Deputy Prime Minister Tarman Shanmugaratnam announced the possibility of simplifying visa requirements for Russian travelers in the the very near future. At the same time, the functionary did not specify exactly what concessions will be discussed.
Recall that today Russians have the right to a visa-free visit to Singapore only in the case of a transit flight (up to 96 hours). Otherwise, the traveler needs a special visa, which is issued in the companies accredited by the embassy of the country (Moscow Visa Center of Asia, Pony Express, and offices of Singapore Airlines and Emirates)
