In July, in one of Seville's districts of Triana, side of the river, there will be celebrations in honor of St. Anne. During the holiday, you can spend wonderful evenings listening to concerts held in the open air and in bars, watching local residents performing traditional dances, and participating in various competitions.

In the street Betis specially for the holiday there are many summer verandas and temporary buildings where you can sit with a glass of wine and try the traditional Triana dish - fried fish.

Every evening during the celebration various contests are organized. The most interesting of them are on the water. This is fishing, and canoe racing and the most interesting, the so-called "cuckoo" or mast with prizes. The ship moored to the shore, the mast of which is smeared with fat. The task of the contest participants is to get the flag attached at the very top of this mast. Of course, the applicants one by one fall into the water, unable to stay on the sliding surface, which leads spectators to full delight. Also, during the celebration, more religious rituals take place, because it is dedicated to the Holy.
