I'm going on a trip to Guam and there I'm going to purchase an iPhone from an official distributor. Will the purchase amount be subject to VAT? As far as I know, there is no VAT on commercial activities in Guam. If this purchase is subject to VAT, can I get tax free upon my departure?

I'm not sure that Guam has an official iPhone distributor. We have a couple of stores where they are sold (in particular, in the Micronesian Mall and GPO).

Tax taxes are not levied on these phones, as far as I know, and even at the airport there are no Tax Free return stakes.
