The Hammamet coastline

It seems that the tourism industry in Tunisia was able to recover completely from the consequences of political upheavals: the growth of the flow of travelers once again went up the hill with confident steps.

From January 1 to February 28, more than 646,000 foreign tourists visited the resorts of the North African state, which is almost 23% more than in the same period a year earlier .At the same time, three quarters (75%) of this amount fell to guests from neighboring countries of the Maghreb, in particular to the Libyans .Revenues from the tourism sector showed a less restrained trend: in the first two months of this year, travelers left in Tunisia 353 million dinars (about 7 billion and 60 million rubles), which is only 3% higher than a year ago .The number of overnight stays has risen to 1.7 million, which is 2.5% more than the beginning of 2013, but still less than the pre-revolutionary level (-19%) .

Recall that by the end of last year, the Russian tourist flow to Tunisia grew by 20%, reaching a mark of 300 thousand people.
