Borispol Airport is the largest airport in Ukraine by the number of flights and passenger traffic. It is located in a small town Boryspil. The main air gates of Ukraine have their history since 1959. It is interesting that during the construction of the airport local residents thought that he was very far from Kiev. But over time, everything has changed, and now between the capital and Boryspil is only about 30 km. To date, the airport complex consists of three terminals
If you are hungry, you will have a difficult choice - there are restaurants of Ukrainian, European, Eastern and American cuisine on the territory of the airport.
How to get there
The Ukrainians themselves and the guests of the capital note that the main inconvenience of Boryspil is the lack of aeroexpress. However, its construction is already underway. While tourists have three options, how to get to Kiev. The most convenient and expensive - to order a taxi.
The cost of a taxi ride can vary very much depending on the carrier and time of day. Focus on 300-350 hryvnia (1200-1400 rubles.)
Official taxi service of Sky Taxi airport takes 6, 5 hryvnia (26 rubles) per 1 km.
If you need a cheaper option, you can A ride on Sky Bus buses that follow from all terminals on a schedule. The fare is 25 UAH (100 rubles). The bus follows the metro station "Kharkivska" to the Southern Railway Station. Sky Bus work both day and night. But keep in mind that after 23.00 the number of cars is dramatically reduced
Special shuttles run between terminals (free travel). In the daytime, the traffic interval is 10 minutes, at night - 20.
Also you can come to the city of Borispol by bus No. 2 or minibus No. 16 (No. 3) from the airport, paying only 2 UAH (8 rubles). Then, from the stop "Leningradskaya" by bus number 316 for 5 hryvnia (20 rubles) to get to metro stations "Boryspilska" or "Kharkivska."
There are car parks close to the terminals. The first 10 minutes of parking free of charge
Services
At the airport you can have a snack, make purchases, use the services of mail and banks. If you are hungry, then you will have a difficult choice - there are restaurants of Ukrainian, European, Eastern and American cuisine. In addition, you can drink a cup of tea or coffee in numerous cafes and bars. Lovers of shopping will appreciate the duty-free shop. Also for passengers there is a hairdresser and a nail bar.
There is a three-star hotel "Borispol" on the territory of the airport. A little further - in the city - you can stay at the Hotel "Airport"

For ten years already I've become a frequent guest in Boryspil - flying abroad from three to five times a year, it is from this almost native airport that all the Boryspil terminals know well, all their shortcomings have been tested Vanir is called - in their own skin. I am very glad that the new and large D terminal is fully functioning, in which all passengers who are waiting for their flights can finally be accommodated, who can not be tormented by sitting on the window sill of terminal B, or on their own suitcase ... Visited this airport when flew to rest in Turkey. Usually we take a flight from Moscow, but here it turned out to take a flight from Boryspil. All the same, we are a little less to go to him from Belarus. We arrived there by car, 5 hours before the flight, were afraid to be late. I want to note that there are very few pointers, we hardly found a parking lot for a car and where to pay for it. Then another 40 minutes looking for an exchanger, because the money was in short supply. We had about 2-3 hours to wait for the flight. Lessons at the airport we could not imagine ... Ukraine has always considered the brotherly people, therefore, when flying to Kiev, she expected a warm welcome. We landed at the airport Borispol. Since the plane stopped quite far from the terminal, we had to wait for a bus 40 minutes !! When the bus arrived, they began to announce places where the bus would make stops in the Ukrainian language and in incomprehensible English, why there was no Russian, we did not understand. Somehow having understood, we went to the point of customs control. The staff did not welcome visitors, if ... Read full review

Boryspil Airport - Terminal B August 22, 2014

The transfer was from Belarus (Gomel) .Arriving at the beginning of registration (flew to Hurghada) 2 hours before departure, successfully passing it (everything was at the highest level - asked at the window - without problems issued) began to study the complex, as before there was no need to visit Boryspil .Smokers - for you there are allotted areas with hoods, which is very convenient (in Hurghada, for example, there are no hoods and, in the truest sense of the word, there is a column of smoke) .Duty Free liked, at prices including .The waiting room is probably the same as in other airports, however, there are very few places where you can have a snack (just one point, at terminal B) .In general, if you do not be a ghost, then you can tune in to a positive attitude and prepare yourself for the flight .

Twice flying to rest from Borispol. In Egypt - from terminal F. Terrible memories. Perhaps, due to the fact that the flight was daylight, the airport was crowded. We arrived an hour before the start of registration - there were no places on the benches at all. Before the electronic scoreboard stood a huge crowd of people: waiting for the appearance of the numbers of the counter for registration. And after the appearance of this information, everyone rushed to the racks.
After registration, passengers move to the second floor. Here, of course, more freely, lightly, enough ... Read the whole review

Favorite airport July 11, 2014

From Boryspil airport I fly quite often, before it suited me, and after the football championship "Euro 2012", it became even better. This is a modern airport of European level with a developed infrastructure. Earlier favorite and actually the only one for trips abroad was Terminal B, today, in my opinion, it was surpassed by Terminal F. It is slightly smaller in size, but it certainly has everything you need to wait before the flight. First of all, this is a spacious and comfortable waiting room, ... Read full review

At Boryspil airport I'm not a frequent guest, but I can say with confidence that for me it is quite a comfortable place. There are always a lot of people, it seems that people are constantly on the move. With me, there have never been any casus situations, hand luggage during check-in was not turned over, the suitcase was not opened. We found ourselves at the airport before registration, slowly packed up their suitcases in the same place for a fee. Walked, explored the territory. If you want to relax from traffic - go down ... Twelve o'clock watch waiting June 19, 2014

Traveling with a small child is not easy, especially when the air carrier delays the flight for twelve hours. But now Terminal B is like a native.
First about the good. The airport is very clean. Despite the fact that on the seats in the waiting room people are changing the conveyor belt, chewing something, cleaners quickly clean everything. The toilets are also clean and modern, which is important when you are forced to drive a baby there.
On the chairs it is convenient not only to sit, to lie down, but also to lie, what the husband and daughter did .... Read the whole review

I often go to Boryspil, because I live in Kiev, and I have to fly a lot, I just want to correct the error in the description, until the Kharkivska metro you can not reach 316, or to the Boryspilskaya metro (green branch) or to the left bank (red branch), yes and if the taxi order, and not catch, it will also be much cheaper than 350 hryvnia. There is also a bus for 50 UAH, here it is possible to get to Kharkov, it goes straight to the central railway station, I will specify that the South and Central Railway stations are nearby, he is traveling from B ... Hello dear travelers. I want to share with you my history of flying to and from Boryspil airport. We flew to rest with my friends in Hurghada. The flight was at 3 am, so we had to arrive at the airport in advance. Upon arrival at the night airport, we immediately went to a coffee shop on the ground floor for coffee. At the price were amazed. We paid 15 dollars for 3 cups of coffee and went to the registration with an unpleasant draft in the shower. Registration was quick, without delay. Places in the plane to us ... Read the entire review
