Morshin is considered one of the best balneological resorts in Ukraine. This city is located near Lviv at an altitude of 340 meters above sea level on the slope of the Carpathian Range. A mild climate, as well as excellent conditions for treatment, allowed Morshin to enter the list of popular resorts of the country.

Local health resorts use the gifts of nature with might and main. For over 100 years, vacationers have come here to cure the liver, stomach, pancreas, cope with diabetes. First of all, the sanatoriums offer treatment with mineral waters and muds.

Mineral water, springs and mud therapy

There are springs of curative water on the territory of the resort, opened in the late 19th century. Some of them received beautiful names like "Magdalena" or "Source of the Mother of God". Today mineral water is successfully used in the treatment of the intestines, urinogenital, respiratory systems, helps metabolism, solves problems with the kidneys.

The symbol of Morshin is the pump room of mineral waters - it is located in the center of the city and stands out for its architecture. It can simultaneously attend about 6 thousand people! The composition of the water and its useful properties are constantly monitored by specialists of the hydrochemical laboratory.

Balneogryazelechebnitsa, located not far from the pump room, welcomes tourists from all sanatoriums. There are about a hundred baths, places for showering, massage, irrigation, hydrotherapy. There is a small mineral water bottling plant at the hospital, which can be purchased at pharmacies.

Morshin Sanatoriums

Most of the Morshin sanatoriums are located in the forest park area. It's always quiet and calm, you can get distracted from the bustle. Cafes and restaurants are constantly working near the sanatoriums

Large sanatoriums consist of several buildings and can accommodate up to 900 people at a time. All the conditions for family rest are created here - entertainment for the taste will be found by adults and children.

The average cost of living in Morshin's sanatorium ranges from 200 to 1500 hryvnia. The cheaper rooms are standard single and double rooms. More expensive - apartments up to 120 square meters. Depending on the price, the course of treatment and procedures varies.

Thanks to its climate Morshin can take vacationers almost all year round. The biggest influx is usually in July. This month at the resort is the warmest.
