Almost all men and the majority of women start new acquaintances during rest - these are the results of our survey. Most often, Russians get acquainted with the most popular resorts: in Turkey, Greece, Egypt, Spain and Italy.

Male tourists are more sociable: 93% of the respondents make new friends during the trip. However, only 27% continue to keep in touch after a holiday, whereas for most people, communication with new people ends with the trip. In 54% of cases, women are new acquaintances of women.

33% of respondents admitted that they encounter difficulties in getting acquainted with the language barrier, because most new friends turned out to be foreigners: 50% are residents of the country where the tourist came to rest, and 29% from the third country.

Women were slightly less sociable: 81% of the tourists surveyed had new acquaintances on vacation. But most of them continue to keep in touch with new people and after vacation - 60% of them turned out to be. At the same time, 58% of new friends are men.

New acquaintances of women were mostly from local people - 63%, another 20% came from a third country. 72% of women noted that they have no language difficulties in dealing with new foreign acquaintances
