How to get from the airport of Zurich to the city center?

Responsible information department of the "Subtlety of Tourism"
Zurich airport, also called "Kloten Airport" is located very close to the city center, a maximum of 10 kilometers. To overcome them, you can immediately rent a car at the airport or hire a taxi - quickly, but costly, about 40-50 EUR.

Much cheaper (within 6.5-7 euros) will be in 10-15 minutes drive to the center of Zurich by train. To do this, follow the signs Train and SBB (as the Swiss railways) to the Zurich Flughafen platforms under terminals 1 and 2. Tickets for trains departing every 5-10 minutes can be bought in vending machines (in the menu there is English), in ticket offices Tickets (only one-time tickets are on sale) and in SBB offices. From there, every half hour you can go to Bern, Basel, etc., every hour to Lugano.

You can get to Zurich HB, Zurich Haup Bahnhof by tram No. 10 (it takes longer, 20 minutes -25) or a bus. The stop is between terminals 1 and 2, these are city buses, for interurban flights the landing is near the main airport building.
